This week was TERRIBLE- I came down with probably one of the worst colds I’ve ever had in my life on Tuesday, and by Wednesday night, my husband and I had the stomach flu as well. Again, one of the worst I’ve had. On top of all of that, I had a healthy, vibrant, adventurous little one year old running around the house wanting to play all day, and I just couldn’t- like I said, TERRIBLE!
So, Wednesday evening, I called in reinforcement- my mom! She is my angel on earth- the sweetest, most loving, most Godly, most wonderful woman ever created, and I get her all to myself being the only daughter and all! So, obviously, the second I called, she was already zipping her coat, and hopping in the car, but before she came to our house, she had to make the traditional stop to pick up all of the ingredients for her homemade, completely made from scratch, Chicken Soup!
Since I was a little girl, this has been the tradition. The second you tell mom your sick, it’s off to the store for popscicles and chicken soup ingredients.
I have had a lot of chicken soup in my day, and I’m telling you- even though I’m biased- this is hands down the most amazing chicken soup in the entire world.
